

Christine is a Bakersfield native and has been involved with the foundation since the start of it. She is a Gang Prevention/Health Educator with Community Action Partnership of Kern and the Director of the foundation. Christine is an active community member and educator; she is also a mentor with Grizzly Youth Academy Charter School. Christine also participates as a member of the Bakersfield Project 180 Coalition as well as community collaborative meetings in efforts of building partnerships with community agencies. Christine brings great experience, understanding of the community, and enthusiasm to the team. With her strategic vision, Dreams and Hope For The Children will continue its movement toward fully representing the nonprofit sector through advocacy, networking, and capacity building so that Kern County can truly thrive.
As a single mother Christine worked a full time job during the day and went to school at night. After all of her hard work, she holds two degrees, a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Masters of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix. Christine’s passion in life is advocating and empowering youth to be successful.
